Woman Why Do You Weep
Woman, why do you weep
And who do you seek
By coming here today
Sir, I'm looking for my Master
Have you taken Him away
Please tell me where you've laid Him
So that I can go and see
The one who died for me
On Calvary
Woman why do you weep
And who do you seek
Now that the stone is rolled away
Can't you see the tomb is empty
And it's the breaking of the day
Sir, help me find my Saviour
Who gave His life for me
So that I can be forgiven
And set free
Mary, it's me
Who you've been longing to see
But touch me not
For I have yet to ascend to my Father
But go on your way
To My brethren and say
That I ascend unto our Father
And our God
Mary, don't you cry, now dry your eyes
For I am right here, by your side
Death could not constrain Me
And now I am alive
So go and tell my brethren
That I have risen from the grave
And all who will believe you
Shall be saved
Mary, blessed are you, because it is true
And you have seen me here today
And blessed are those who have not seen
But believe you when you say
That you have seen my glory
That I first revealed to Thee
Because of the great love
You have for Me
Mary, it's me
Who you've been longing to see
But touch me not
For I have yet to ascend to my Father
But go on your way
To My brethren and say
That I ascend unto our Father
And our God
I ascend to our Father
And our God
Woman, why do you weep
And who do you seek
By coming here today
