My Prayer for Canada

This is my prayer for Canada

My home sweet home to me
From Newfoundland and Labrador

To the province of BC
Father let Your glory shine

From the North, South, East and West
And unite us through Your Spirit LORD

In this land that You have blessed

This is my prayer for Canada

My home and native land
May God bless you and protect you

From our enemies cruel hands
And defend you from all foes

Both foreign and within
Who will be judged for what they’ve done

When Jesus comes again

Father let thy kingdom come

And let Thy will be done
And let this land called Canada

Be united through Your Son

And give us strength today

To honour and obey

All the You would have us do

Father now I pray

This is my prayer for Canada

The country that I love
Your civil rights and freedoms

Can only come from God
Who is LORD and King of all

Who are longing to be free
From the enemies within our walls

Who attack our liberty

This is my prayer for Canada

My home sweet home to me
That our fathers fought and died for

So that we can remain free
May we all unite again

To honour and defend
This country known as Canada

From the enemy within
Father let Your name be glorified
