THE PROMISE LAND

I will praise You blessed Savior

I will honor You and worship You today

I am longing to see Your glory

Shining brightly in the kingdom of YAHWEH

God of Isaac and of Jacob

God of Abraham and David hear my plea

I am waiting to cross the river

To the place that You've prepared for me

My life on earth will soon be over

Come dear LORD and take me by the hand

For I am old and feeling weary

Come and lead me to the Promise land

Precious Savior send Your Spirit

To correct me when I go astray

LORD protect me and my family

And deliver us from evil now I pray

Here I am LORD with my weakness

I've fallen short of all that You command

Here I am LORD with my meekness

Come and save me, my life is in Your hands

My life on earth will soon be over

Come dear LORD and take me by the hand

For I am old and feeling weary

Come and lead me to the Promise  land

When I reach the holy city

Where I know my Father waits for me

In the presence of the angels

I will live again for all eternity
