We Are Family

In a little town

Over two thousand years ago
A child was born in Bethlehem

The Son of God born unto man
To save the world from Satan’s plan

This baby boy was born
In a little town

In a little town

By the sea of Galilee
He taught the gospel of the kingdom

And of the peace that He would bring
When the law of God has been fulfilled

And written in our hearts
We will be free

Then upon a cross

At the age of thirty three
The Lamb of God on Calvary

Was nailed to that dreadful tree
To pay the price for you and me

For the sins of all humanity
He died

Then He rose again

And He lives with us today
On the right hand of His Father’s throne He sits

Until that great day comes
  When He'll return as King of kings to bring
The new Jerusalem

God has a family

And every woman, child and man
Whether yellow, red or black and white

Are equal in His holy sight

Created for eternal life with Him

In His great master plan

We are family

And in this very room

There is love enough for everyone to share

For the Spirit of the LORD most High is here

He's in this very room

He's in this family

And we are family

We are family
