When It's All Been Said And Done

When it's all be said and done

When the road is far behind me

When my feet have trod the many miles

Of trials on the way

I will look back on my life

And I will see where Jesus led me

Through the battle grounds of glory

Where I stumbled on the way

And although I did not know it at the time

His love was calling me

And although I did not recognize His voice

He was always calling me home

Come home my son when the work is done

I've prepared a place for you

So that where I will be always

You will be there too

And you will live, forevermore

In a mansion of your own

I'm coming soon, to call and take you home

When my life on earth is over

When I meet the one who kept me safe

And brought me through each storm

I will kneel before His throne

And I will praise His name forever

By the grace of God, I know

He'll lead me home

And although I did not recognize His face

He chose me for His bride
