Our Grief Is Love
Our grief is love, that has nowhere to go
Except to God, He's the only one I know
Who can dry your tears, and take away your pain
And restore all things when Jesus comes again
She was so young, and full of hope and dreams
A child of God, and a young girl in her teens
Alyssa's smile, could chase my blues away
And I wonder why she had to go that day
My life has changed, and I am feeling weary
It's not the same, without her in my life
But she'll remain, forever in my memory
Until I go to sleep in Jesus Christ
To every thing there is a place and time
A time to mourn, and a time for peace of mind
A time to laugh, and a time to cry
A time to live, and a time to die
I believe that we will meet again
In the kingdom of our Father and our friend
Then all our cares will someday pass away
When Jesus comes on resurrection day
Our grief is love, that has nowhere to go
Except to God, He's the only one I know
Who can dry your tears, and take away your pain
And restore all things when Jesus comes again
He'll restore all things when Jesus comes again
